Artist Reflection - Letter Project
I think that the strongest area of my piece of work is the background that I made with all of the circles of black and white because I feel that I added a ying and yang type feel to the photo. My photo can be improved by adding more S's to the letter project because I feel there is a small lack of S.
The easiest part of this art project was arranging my S's because I felt it was really easy to use the move tool, and also use the arrow keys to perfectly aline the letter that I wanted to. The hardest part I found was filling the empty space with more letters because I had trouble thinking of how to fill it with more S's and how I wanted to shape them.
The things I used was the type tool to make the S's in the first place and then I also used fonts and different font sizes to make my S's bigger. I also used the paint tool to make black and white dots all around the background of my photo to help fill it and not make it look so empty. I achieved the goal of this activity because I used different ways to style the S's, like overlapping them with other S's and putting some halfway on the photo as well. If I could do this activity again I might pick another letter like M because I feel I could use it more creatively than I used my S's.
Artist Reflection - Clone Wars
I think that the strongest area of the piece of work I made is my poses/position for the Clone Wars project because I'm not just standing around, there are different poses such as laying down and leaning, etc. My work can be improved by including stronger and more shadows for my clones so they don't look so pasted in.
The thing I found most easy about this project was taking the photos themselves. The hardest part for me was making my clones look natural and including their shadows in the photo. For this project I used the layer mask tool to layer five photos over each other, all using different poses, making it all into one picture.
I achieved the goal of this art activity by taking my five photos and combining all of them to one with all five of my poses, creating "clones". If I could do this art activity again I would be more careful taking pictures, and also make sure to include all my shadows so it doesn't look so unnatural.
